Midland’s Water Conservation Efforts Show Positive Results

Midland, Texas, has once again demonstrated its strong community spirit, rising to the challenge of recent water conservation requests. The City of Midland's call for reduced water usage has been met with a positive response, leading to measurable improvements in our water supply.

Following necessary repairs at the T-Bar well field, the City of Midland asked residents and businesses to participate in voluntary water conservation. This included pausing outdoor watering, landscape and yard irrigation, and pool refilling.

Thanks to the collective efforts of our community, water levels have shown significant improvement. The city has reported increases in water tank levels and improved water pressure across Midland. This is a testament to the willingness of Midland residents to work together for the common good.

While positive progress has been made, the City of Midland encourages residents to continue practicing water conservation. By maintaining water-wise habits, we can ensure a sustainable water supply for our community's future. This also shows that by working together, Midland can overcome challenges.
